Hi Alex,

I'm not too sure if I'm not understanding something or if I'm doing something wrong so I'll just ask because it's been bothering me for the past few days. Before we get into it, here are a few details about my setup:

  • I have connected X-plane 11 to Little Navmap (works perfectly fine)
  • I use Vatsim for online multiplayer services

On to business! After creating a flight plan, I start up the plane, take-off, cruise, then arrive at my destination. Now I read that the Logbook would autofill after meeting certain targets in the flight plan and that it would recognize me landing but not once has the logbook ever populated itself.

My questions are:

  1. How do you populate the logbook? (without importing because I already know how to do this)
  2. How do you close a flight plan once you've arrived or landed?

Please take a look at the images below, you can see that I've already landed and arrived at my destination but the flight plan doesn't close itself. I've been looking around for how to close a flight plan but I just can't find it anywhere. (Also just for reference, I've flow without an alternate route as well and it's still the same results)

You can enter and also correct entries manually. Simply right click into the logbook search result table and choose from the context menu ("Add", "Edit", etc.). But this is normally not needed

LNM adds a logbook entry once the user aircraft takes off and finishes the entry on landing. It just has to be enabled in the logbook menu. Do not restart or disconnect LNM in between since this would break the detection.

Starting LNM, the simulator or the aircraft engines is not recognized as logbook event. Takeoff and touchdown are important. Track, flightplan and aircraft performance are automatically attached.

See here for more: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.6/en/LOGBOOK.html

You can use File -> "Reset all for a new flight" to get a clean base before flying: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.6/en/RESET.html
