July 11, 20223 yr Disregard my question. I took the brute force approach and searched through all MSFS files and there are no country names at all. Not even in the BGL files. normally country names are stored in translation files like.../LocalCache/Packages/Official/OneStore/fs-base/en-US.locPak and there is a set of keys for each airport like "AIRPORTEK.KSEA.city": "Seattle", "AIRPORTEK.KSEA.name": "Seattle-Tacoma Intl", "AIRPORTEK.KSEA.state": "Washington", which contains the translated names that are referenced by the BGL files containing the airport data. Alex Sorry for the slow response Alex I was re-installing Windows lol So they've removed the countries from the SU10 update? that sounds very strange but doesn't come as a complete surprise tbh. LOL. 🙃 I'm thinking about an option to update the administrative data (city, state/province and country) using another data source like https://ourairports.com/ since the admin information X-Plane is also quite messy.
