Error in LINDA when selecting LINDA Tracer

Featured Replies

Hello dear friends, first of all, let me introduce myself.

I am Spanish and I have been building an MD80 cockpit for Leonardo MADDOGX for a few years.
Simulation is my hobby and aviation is my profession.

At the moment I am trying to make the connections between the simulator and the Output indicator lights.
I am using the following elements:
PREPAR 3D5V + MADDOG X + FSUIPC6 + MOBIFLIGHT……….and LINDA 3 . 3 . 5

Download LINDA with the intention of being able to trace the scripts and actions that the simulator performs.
Worse when I try to select ( setup LINDA ---- developer mode ---- and finally LINDA TRACER)
The following message appears in the console:

[ERROR] SetFaultDiagnosisMode - LogOptionProtect Access violation at address 007ADC70 in module 'LINDA.exe'. Read of address 7102F319 [5]

I have been reading about it but I am not able to solve this.

If anyone has experienced the same or has any suggestions for a solution I would appreciate it.

Many thanks friends.

Greetings and happy day.

Hi, welcome to LINDA, The reported error is a safe capture of an error and can be ignored. It is for my info as developer only.

Hola, bienvenido a LINDA. El error informado es una captura segura de un error y puede ignorarse. Es solo para mi información como desarrollador.

Hello Scot, thank you very much for replying so quickly.
The problem is that when the list of Lvar Variables should appear:
Like the below:

Like the one in this photo

When I press LINDA TRACER, it returns me to the screen of this capture:

How can I ignore the error as you tell me, please forgive my ignorance.

Thank you very much

The front main page in your second image suggests that LINDA is not running fully. You have Maddog selected by it is not sync-ed to the sim (orange outline). No joysticks are shown connected and you need to tick Developer in Setup LINDA or Defect Diagnosis Mode in Maintenance to be able to select LINDA Tracer. In FSUIPC6.ini you also need to change LogOptionProtect to Yes.

Dear friend, I have to thank you very much that thanks to you I have already solved the problem, according to your recommendations I have already managed to make LINDA tracer functions and in this way observe the Lvar variables.

Many thanks.😊

Glad you got it sorted.
