October 14, 20223 yr I’ve recently upgraded from FSX to MSFS running on a new Dell pc with Windows 11. I have tried unsuccessfully four times to install Little Nav Map. Each time the program runs when first installed, but won’t restart after shutdown, I get a series of error messages beginning with “Code execution cannot proceed because libmarblewidgetQT5Gui.dll not found” I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions, I’ve got used to using LNM.
October 15, 20223 yr The installation or archive extractions is probably incomplete and DLL files are missing. Or anti-virus put some files into quarantine. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 15, 20223 yr Author Thanks for the response, Alex, but I'm afraid I'm not sufficiently computer literate to know what to do next! Can you help further?

Another problem might be that you opened the program from the Windows Explorer Zip-view. You have to extract all files from the Zip before running LNM (this is true for almost all programs). Download again from here: https://github.com/albar965/littlenavmap/releases/download/v2.6.19/LittleNavmap-win-2.6.19.zip Right click on the downloaded file and select "Extract all ...". Then run LNM by double clicking on the file "littlenavmap" or "littlenavmap.exe" Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 15, 20223 yr Author Alex, that seems to have worked, LNM now opens and reopens after closing down. I suspect I know what may have happened, I dragged the exe file to my desktop - I'm sure in previous versions of Windows this created a shortcut, but I noticed it now moves the exe file out of its folder and puts it in the desktop. There's still a problem though, most airports (in the UK at least) don't have the airport symbol, the runway feathers are there and a small airplane, but no airport symbol to click on so I can't for example select the airport as departure or destination. Sorry to bother you.

Sorry to bother you. I suppose you have to load the scenery library database into LNM. Go to LNM main menu -> "Scenery Library" and select "Load scenery library". In the dialog window select your simulator and click load. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
