Just thought I'd put this on here to see how many of you are in the same boat.Does this happen to you? You know how it is ...you decide to fly in a part of the world you have hardly been in, go to airliners.net to check out what airlines fly there and then spend the next 10 fruitless hours searching feverishly for liveries of not-so-well-known airlines because the FS9 "lets keep it real" mantra kicks in http://www.planet-smilies.de/computer/computer_021.gifThis reached a bit of a mental level with me until I realised in FS9 the sole purpose of liveries for me is screenshot value (you dont want your Air Europa 737 over Singapore). From the cockpit or wingviews it does'nt really matter if the fuselage is bright green with bunny rabbits and palm trees painted on it http://www.planet-smilies.de/a_smilies/clown_1.gifSometimes I envy the uber-real simmers on here who proably have a small compact FS9 fleet with one version of each plane, they do not care what livery they fly in what country because they are cockpit-only simmers! But for us flight-sim eye-candy people...*sigh*...To that effect I am now going to look for bare-metal or plain-white repaints of planes (one of each type). These shall be used in those obscure parts of the world for which repaints cannot be found and can also be used in screenshots so you lot wont giggle when you see an SAS 737NG taking off from an airport in Mongolia http://www.planet-smilies.de/a_smilies/sport_3.gifAnd to that effect...would anyone know of some bare-metal or pure white 50North 737s..please!Ok had to get that off my chest, you can wake up now :(

I like to use factory liveries myself, especially Boeing's new colours for the PMDG models. Then I can pretent to be on a round-the-world testflight. -
