November 15, 20223 yr Used XP12 since release with few problems, but all of a sudden it is opening to a black screen. I see the XP12 loading screen, but the screen goes black when the initial menu opens. I can move the mouse pointer and it shows a pointing finger icon when I move over the options (start last flight etc). Can anyone advise me on action to take to investigate this? EDIT : The aircraft loads, I can hear the engine and when I move the throttle the aircraft responds, but the screen is black! November 15, 20223 yr Author Solved - a Reshade filter option was selected when XP12 was shut down. The filter was fine in the game, but this particular filter option left on when quitting XP12, lead to a black screen when opening the sim!
