After trying VR, P2ATC not hearing regular mic

Featured Replies

I hooked up a VR to try in MSFS along with having P2ATC open. Of course the VR became the headphones and mic. The problem is now I cannot use a regular mic with P2ATC outside of VR; it cannot hear it. The computer is hearing the mic (as indicated in mic setup) and other programs can hear the mic, but not P2ATC. I've tried re-installing and same issue. Everything indicates the mic is working except P2ATC. I couldn't find an option in the config that allows you to choose which mic source you use... I'm hoping I've just missed it. If not, I'm out of ideas.

Thoughts/suggestions?

I found the problem... Even thought he VR had been unplugged, in the audio devices manager the VR mic was still active. After I disabled it all is well again in the world. Not sure why P2A seemed to be the only program affected, but it's working again.
