GTN650 Bezel in AirManager with Knobster working

Featured Replies

I have been looking for a skin or bezel to run on the RealityXP GTN650 in Airmanger with Knobster in XP-11.   Short of designing my own skin (which I'm in the process of doing) I modified the existing bezel for the GTN750 (available in Airmanager) by changing its dimensions in Airmanger.  What you end up with is a slightly distorted bezel (the knobs are out-of -round but the buttons and knobs (using knobster) are fully functional.  I'm attaching a pic of my Airmanger panel which I designed to replicate the instruments in my Cessna 172.   I actually have a Garmin GPS175, not the GTN650, but the panels are the same size and the GPS functions are almost identical.  The plan is to add a second touchscreen and make the instruments full scale.   The G5s and The GPS are almost full scale on this 15" touchscreen.  I used the tutorials provided by Russ Barlow on Youtube to create panel.   Thanks Russ!  This sim has really helped me create an authentic simulation to practice IFR procedures.

Very cool! Russ' channel is one of the best, for sure. His work convinced me that version 2 of my cockpit will be based on AirManager.

Your project looks great!
