STKP Flight Log

Featured Replies

Hi all.

A couple of months ago, I got a new simming computer. On my previous computer, I used SimToolKitPro as a flight logger with P3D. I have since moved to MSFS on the new computer. Is there a way to copy my old flight log from the old computer into the STKP installation on my new rig? I'm not sure what file I should be looking for or where to find it.

Thanks,

Scott

Just giving this a bump...still trying to figure it out.

I was able to export the stkp-flight-log-export.csv file from my old installation on my previous computer, but I have no idea where to place it on my new computer and STKP installation.

I've tried using their discord, but I can't post anything. I get a message telling me I have to claim my account. but when I try to, I get a message the account has already been claimed (I really dislike Discord).

If you still have your old PC, go to your "Documents/SimToolkitPro" folder.

You should see a long, alphanumeric file name ending with ".index".  That's your logbook and fleet.  Just move that file into the same location on your new computer and see if that works.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for the information! I'll give it a try when I get home from work later today.

Hi Rich,

Unfortunately, copying that file over to my new PC did not change anything. STKP still only show the flights I've made on the new PC.

Thanks, though!

Scott

Did  you already have a differently named .index file?

I hope you get the discord issues worked out - it seems that many developers are using that exclusively now for support.

Hi Rich,

No, I did not have any renamed file index that I know of.

I think I got the Discord problem ironed out - was able to get in today. Saw where someone posted on 12.30.2022 having the same issue as I. One of the support people said that was due to a server being down for maintenance...I would think it would be back up by now.

Regards,

Scott
