PROBLEM WITH FS9 HELI DEVELOPMENT AS350B3

Featured Replies

Good day

i recently purchased the FS9 HELI DEVELOPMENT AS350B3 from SIMMARKET, but try as I can I cannot get the FUEL BOOSTER switch in the center pedestal control console to turn off.

I have tried to use the product link to contact Heli Development but it is non existant.

Everything else works great except not being able to use the Fuel booster switch means I can't shut down properly and therefore cannot restart the heli.

Any help will be great

Thanks

Michael

Michael,

I have plenty of helicopters in my FS9 but most probably not the payware one you are referring to, so that I most probably cannot directly help you ...... BUT ......

Are you sure that your "fuel booster" switch is a functional one and not just a picture on your panel ? You can check this by opening your panel.cfg file and by finding the switch (or it's picture) at the X - Y positioning co-ordinates on your main panel.

If the switch is in fact a functional one (a "guage in FS terminology) and has panel positioning co-ordinates, then it must also have a ".gau" name and that name must be included somewhere within your main FS9 "guages" folder or in the panel folder itself. If not found anywhere, then this "missing guage" is the basis of your problem, in which case I would want to suggest that you take a good look at the original installation files and/or procedure to see if it was somehow skipped during that process.

If all the above has failed I would finally want to suggest that you post the full file name in this thread, because you never know if some other "flat screen pilot" has that file in his own FS9.

Good luck.

Hans
