Hi Astrodave,the explanation to the "patched exe" is here http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...topic_id=399256The Hotfix will help all DX9 games which run under Windows Vista. It will reduce the usage off memory by a large amount. Bring it back to nearly the same level as with Windows XP.Take a look here http://www.anandtech.com/printarticle.aspx?i=3060
