February 19, 20233 yr Hello, I'm not a very experienced LNM user but so far doing well 😅 I often have an issue after saving a Departure Runway. When I load the flight plan in G1000, the runway centerline extension part (in the attached case RWY09+3) shows a curve that is disconnected from the rest of the path. When I try to fly, the plane can't follow the path. If I then replace Select Departure Runway with Select EKBI as Departure Airport, the flight plans shows up ok on the G1000. The above issue doesn't always happen, but seems to be more common in shorter flight plans, like the attached. I have attached screenshots for reference. Any help would be much appreciated.  Â
February 20, 20233 yr This is a limitation in the XP Garmins. The exported coordinates are correct but the unit create these strange loops from it. You can ignore them, delete the RW points in the Garmin unit or remove them in LNM before export and then undo the deletion after export. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
February 25, 20233 yr Author When you load the flight plan in Garmin it initially looks alright. Then when you start flying and turn on AP, the plane starts swerving from the path and the runway extension part shows that loop. Thanks for the update.Â
February 26, 20233 yr We're talking about X-Plane or MSFS here, BTW? The screenshots look like MSFS. The X-Plane Garmins shows at least the right course in the table for the exported waypoints but they add this strange curve on departure. I usually completely ignore this and fly the departure manually. I'm hesitant to add (another) workaround for this. Â Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
