Lake Malawi Tour

Lake Malawi Tour

This tour of airstrips around Lake Malawi is inspired by Darshonaut’s  “We Have Hippos – The Malawi Project” scenery addon for MSFS.   The complete tour is over 800nm so we will break it down into multiple flights.

Flightplan: HERE

Aircraft:  We will want a cruise speed of 250knts to cover the longer legs.  I will fly the King Air, but the TBM or a warbird will work well too.   There are some shortish (1500ft) runways so you have been warned.   As always you are free to fly what you like.

Required Scenery (Freeware):

Darshonaut - We Have Hippos   (there are multiple downloads on this page but you only need “We Have Hippos” for this tour)

Recommend Departure time of 8:00AM local

Particulars:

·        Date and time: Saturday March 11, 19:00 UTC

·        Where: AVSIM RTWR Teamspeak - Casual Flights Channel

·        Teamspeak Server Address: ts.teamavsim.com

·        MFS Multiplayer: US Eastcoast Server

If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks!
