Trim adjustments on MSFS not holding

A friend of mine and I are having the same problem. After we make trim adjustments to make an aircraft fly level or straight we get the correct response but then the plane reverts to its old atttitude.I'm on a PC with a CH Fighterstick and he is on Xbox.Has anyone had this problem and found a solution?
