Multiple Flight Routes?

After the recent update, I now get multiple flight paths on the MFD:

There is the normal flight plan (magenta, etc.), but now there is also a second direct flight route indicated on every flight. Is this a realistic Garmin inclusion or is this an issue with the MSFS flight planning system?
