March 24, 20233 yr So with the recent release of the Active Sky XP beta version I was fairly surprised that the thing I was always asking about - weather information for manually edited weather - actually works with ASXP! Unfortunately, after the latest beta it stopped working. I asked the devs about it and that's what they said: "Please contact the author of LNM. There appears to be an interface issue, probably with the detection of ASXP12 compared to ASXP as the module name has changed (ASXPConnect to ASXPConnect12). So they probably just need to add ASXP12 support now with the new module name awareness." Any chance you could look into that? Thanks in advance 🙂

Is there anything about this in the user manual. I cannot see a download for it. Can you send me the manual or the relevant parts of it? https://albar965.github.io/contact.html Maybe I can add this to the next LNM 2.8.10. There is this option for a current_wx_snapshot file in the settings, which I admit I should have checked in the first place. I just corrected the path for the file in the LNM settings, which is now indeed named "AS_XPL12". So, I guess changing the default path for the new name should do the trick. Unfortunately, your email link does not seem to work for me, so I put the manuals on google drive: You can of course also give me an alternative option in case you don't want to use the link 🙂 (in case you have active sky installed: the "help" button in the UI will get you there as well) The API manual seems to include all the necessary info about this function, just in case there might be issues with this in the future, because of expected changes to the weather system in both XP and AS. Thanks again for your work. Edited March 26, 20233 yr by albar965 Removed download link
March 26, 20233 yr Thank you for the files! 👍 This helps a lot. I got the files and removed the download link from your post because I'm not sure if HifiSim likes the public distribution. You have to click the email link on my page to open a composing email window. This is sort of a spam protection. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

I'm glad I can help in any way 🙂 Also yeah removing the link was probably a good idea, thanks.

Seems not to work on all browsers here. 3 hours ago, Zayaraq said: No problem! I'm glad I can help in any way 🙂 Also yeah removing the link was probably a good idea, thanks. I already added ASXP12 support for the next release 2.8.10. Path used is now "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Hifi\AS_XPL12/Weather/current_wx_snapshot.txt" and activeflightplanwx.txt.
