I'm just curious but has anyone tried installing and running FSX inside a virtual machine running Vista? I was just wondering if there was any noticeable effect, both positive or negative. Thank you.

FSX will not work, as 3D graphic acceleration inside of a VM does not work (ie. is not implemented). Even, if it would work, you would see a noticeable performance decrease.Hope this helps.Pat

I've used it in XP for testing. However it's a pain in the rear - and as noted above - performance is terrible.
