What? More Malawi!

You may have thought that – whew, we’re finally done – when we finished the “More More Malawi” flight, but NO – there’s MORE.   I am proud to present this weeks feature presentation: “What ?  More Malawi!”

Starting Lilongwe Old Airport (FWLE) the route zig-zags northward on the west side of Lake Malawi over a number of wildlife refuges.  It features nine landings at “We have Hippos” enhanced airfields.  We will finish at  Vwaza (FWVW) on the edge of Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve.  NOTAM: I am unable to promise that this is the last Malawi flight.

Aircraft:  I will be flying the DHC-4 Caribou again.  Can you tell that I really like this plane?  I have no idea what kind of Airbus you will see me in.  It will only go 150knts so I will likely be the slowest aircraft in the group. As always you are free to fly what you like.
