June 25, 20232 yr In my MSFS Community folder I have one main Community folder which holds all aircraft etc and two empty folders marked as 2 and 3 so that I can switch between folders when necessary eg. for updates. I find now that I cannot switch things around because I am being told that I need to close the file or folder and try again. In the main Community there is a new Folder Titled Official and inside of that is a Steam folder and inside of that there are at least 100 files of Asobo and microsoft aircraft etc. This, I believe may be the problem and, at the same time my system start up time went from 2 minutes to nearly 8 minutes. I'm not sure how to fix this and I would appreciate some help.
June 25, 20232 yr It would seem that you have installed MSFS into your Community folder. You will find the installation path in the last line of your Usercfg.opt file. Edited June 25, 20232 yr by Reader
June 27, 20232 yr Author Hello, thank you for the reply, I have located the Usercfg.opt and have seen all of the data but what do I need to do now ? Does it mean a fresh install ? ( I don't mind if I need to do that).Thanks again for any help you can give me.
