Simmarket Deleted my Account

Featured Replies

So my 4TB backup HDD died taking with it all the years worth of flight sim backups I've been putting on it as an offline secondary backup. I recovered everything else I had on there as secondary copies but still has about 2TB of stuff that was lost. I was going to all the different sites downloading stuff and backing up onto new 4TB SSD. When I got to simmarket, which most of my flight sim purchases have been over the last decade, it asked me to download the new Windows app. I thought cool! why not? I downloaded and installed the app, while still logged onto my simmarket account and having just copied my FSUIPC keys and nothing else. When I tried to log into the app, it IMMIDIATELY brough up an error saying You Deleted You Account Permanently...while I was still logged into the account on the website.

I figured that app is just acting up and closed it. Went back to the website and re-downloaded FSUIPC installer, since I was on that page. I clicked back and the site logged me out and asked to sign in again. And this is when I realized something had gone very wrong. Because now the website was also telling me that I deleted my account permanently, with hundreds of purchases on their!

Need less to say, I'm writing here because I got in contact with Simmarket and explained everything and they pretty much told me to F off. "Too bad you did it yourself." And that's it, my decade worth of sim purchases and hundreds of dollars down the drain!
