Airspace is different when switching between MSFS and XP?

Featured Replies

Not sure if I'm missing a setting somewhere or what but when I switch between using LNM for MSFS and XP12, MSFS shows most airspaces but XP12 does not. I've loaded and validated scenery and both are set to use Navigraph for navaids and procedures and airspace libraries are set to navigraph and simulator.  MSFS view and XP view near KSTL.

LNM reads airspaces from X-Plane and MSFS. What you see depends on the selected sources in "Scenery library" -> "Airspace libraries". If you have "Simulator" selected in this menu you will see differences when switching between simulators (https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/MENUS.html#airspace-libraries).

So when I unselect "Simulator" from airspace libraries LNM shows the same map for both MSFS and XP. So I guess that's what I don't understand. When looking at the sectional for my area, using MSFS with simulator and Navigraph selected for airspace libraries, LNM shows real close to what the sectional shows. If I switch to XP I'm missing a bunch of airspace that is in the sectional. How can I get LNM to show the airspaces in XP then?

LNM can only show what's in the X-Plane airspace files if you select "Simulator".

Use the setting "Navigraph" if you have a Navigraph subscription and updated LNM with the latest.

My apologies if I wasn't being clear. I am using Navigraph and it is updated to the latest cycle. No matter if I have simulator and navigraph or only navigraph it does not reflect the published charts for any of the areas I fly to.

I see no differences having airspaces on Navigraph and switching simulators.
I cannot do anything if there are airspaces missing of different from real world. This is up to Navigraph. You might want to post in their forums.

I know that there are differences between airspaces in their app and the airspaces in LNM.
