July 17, 20232 yr I have noticed since the game came out back in 2020 but just thought to ask about it now. If I am at cruise in just about any aircraft with the garmin, (think SR22, DA40, TBM930, etc.) I notice that the RPM always flashes red, even if I lower the throttle to a point where I am losing airspeed. Is there something else I should be doing? 5700X3D 64GB DDR4-3600MHz Gigabyte 4070 Super Game installed on 980 PRO Main display Gigabyte M27Q X 27" 1440p 240Hz
July 18, 20232 yr Do they have the props with the variable pitch angle? I have been trying to learn the Beechcraft G36 and have noticed the same. I get the RPM down to about 2600 with throttle at about 60%. I wonder if manipulating the prop would make a difference.
July 22, 20232 yr Author Honestly, I have no idea lol. I have been playing flight sim since 2004 but to this day, after thousands of hours, I don't know the details of the planes I fly to that level. I just have a good time and want that flashing to stop :D. July 22, 20232 yr "RPM" is flashing because the variable pitch propellor is spinning at too high a speed. Using the blue lever, reduce the RPM to something like 2300 RPM and then adjust the throttle accordingly. Lots of videos explaining the basic principles, e.g., Have fun out there.
