Little XP Connect installation problems

I can not install little XP connect to my Mac.   The password entry is locked and I can't seem to bypass this stumbling block.  Is there a work around?

You can also start X-Plane after installing the plugin. Press cancel on the dialog "Cannot be opened ..." and then click "allow anyway" in system preferences.
Another options is to temporarily disable the gatekeeper run the program and then enable it again: https://iboysoft.com/wiki/gatekeeper-mac.html
