Intro

Hello all, I am a beginner flight simmer and I enjoy flying helicopters and turboprop aircraft.  Unfortunately, I don't get a chance to fly very often.  But one of my other hobbies is community building.  I am recruiting partners to launch Lark Charter Aviation.

What is LCA?
Lark Charter Aviation is a virtual organization specializing in helicopter charters & tours, and GA charter flights.  Our pilots will have a chance to fly out of unique locations to interesting destinations.  When LCA is up and running, we'll be organizing events, and participating in VATSim & other community events.  

Virtual Structure
Lark Charter Aviation will operate, initially, a fleet of Bell Model 407s out of the Downtown Manhattan Heliport (KJRB) with charter destinations to:
- KACY (Atlantic City Int'l, Atlantic City, NJ)
- KFOK (FSG Airport, Westhampton, NY)
- 87N (Southampton Heliport, Southampton, NY)
- KHTO (East Hampton Airport, East Hampton, NY)
- KUUU (Newport State Airport, Newport, RI)
- KHYA (Cape Cod Gateway Airport, Hyannis, MA)
- 1B2 (Katama Airport, Martha's Vineyard, MA)
- 09W (South Capitol Street Heliport, Washington, DC)

407 pilots will also have the opportunity to fly 3 tour routes around New York City:
- Manhattan Tour (Highlights: Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, 1 World Trade, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, Chelsea Piers, Times Square, The Intrepid, Central Park)
- Big Apple Tour (Manhattan Tour Plus: Columbia University, Grant's Tomb, Yankee Stadium, The Palisades, George Washington Bridge & the northern tip of Manhattan)
- Empire Tour (Manhattan + Big Apple Tours Plus: Verazzano Bridge & Brooklyn/Brooklyn Bridge)

Our fixed wing hub will be Teeterboro Airport (KTEB) operating a fleet of Beechcraft King Air 350i & Cessna Citation CJ4s.
Regular charter flight destinations out of Teeterboro will be:
- KBVT (Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport, Burlington, VT)
- MYNN (Lynden Pindling International Airport, Nassau, Bahamas)
- CYUL (Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, Montreal, Canada)
- others as filed by pilots

Next Steps
I am recruiting experienced sim flyers for the following roles:
Flight Operations Director (FOD) - This person will assist in developing and maintaining SOP's regarding flight operations (testing & introducing new aircraft & aircraft models, as well as FS2020 mods & add-ons to improve user experience & immersion as well as trouble shooting with members as they implement). 

Senior Training Officers (STO) - These individuals will be available for training sessions & check rides for LCA's members (must have significant experience in at least one of our aircraft).

Flight Line Operations Director (FLOD) - This people will assist members with technical programs used to interact with the in-game flight sim community (IATO, VATSim, etc).

Human Resources Director (HR) - Our HR department will be actively recruiting new pilots, and will act as moderators in our Discord channel.

Graphic Designer - This person will help to create the visual branding of Lark Charter Aviation.  The ideal candidate will have experience designing liveries for MS2020 aircraft.

Content Creators - Sim aviators who actively stream or create content for Twitch or YouTube who are willing to represent LCA.  I obviously don't expect every video or stream to be an LCA flight. But, charters and tour flights could be a fun addition to your content calendar.

What I'll be doing:
- Logo & branding package - I'm working right now on designing a logo set for LCA.
- Website & Discord development - I am researching VA management software, and once I settle on the best one for us, will begin building a website around it.
- Recruiting pilots & staff
- Developing partnerships
