Aerowinx PSX

Recommended Posts

Hi, I noticed in v3.40 of PSXT that the Aerowinx option is now hidden as per the release notes:

What’s new? Sep 23, 2023, version 3.4.0 • Changed the Aerowinx option into a hidden parameter, hence no longer in the UI.

Having to update this value in the file parameters.xml is very inconvenient as I often switch between MSFS standalone and PSX.

Can you please bring this option back the UI or perhaps look at auto-detecting a PSX connection?

Thank you,

Steve.

Hi Steve,

Welcome. I thought there was only 1 Aerowinx user, but apparently there  are more. DId not expect you guys to leave your superior 747 😉

Can't you write a simple batchjob to change the parameter? You have to restart PSXTraffic anyway.

On another topic. Are you interested in LearnDestination? I could, by listening to the second channel  detect if you have a RT pro license and than enable the LearnDestination checkbox.

Nico

Btw  will put the return of the Aerowinx checkbox (maybe very small) on my todo list...

Hi Nico,

Haha, sometimes when doing a short hop it makes sense to give Her Majesty a rest between long hauls 😀

Yes, you're right, I could write a batch file as you say, given a restart is needed. Nonetheless having the option back in the gui would be beneficial so thank you in advance for when you get round to doing this.

Learn destination isn't something I had considered using at this point as I'm just a standard user of RealTraffic.

Thanks again, Steve.
