Logbook question

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if it is possible to sort the logbook by date? It seems strange that the dates are so helter-skelter. I wish you could just click on the date heading and they would all sort be date. Any help would be appreciated.

That .bin logbook file I will never understand why they went to that. When it gets corrupted fsx will hang and not start so you either have to repair it or delete it.I use fsrealtime when flying so normaly my dates stay in correct chronological order. so long as you set to actual time before you start or continue a flight.

Well thanks, at least what you said is good to know, I never knew that if the .bin file got corrupted it would not boot. Maybe I should keep a backup on my desktop. I appreciate your help.Paul

I did forget to mention that it logs whatever the situation date is set to. So if you fly a flight on say tuesday the 1st and save it then pick it up a week later after flying a few other flights the dates will always be in order of flight but not date in the logbook, if that makes any sense. If yer logbook ever gets trashed and ya cant fix it give me a shout, Ive gotten pretty good over the past year fixing them from scratch without losing any data. There are also a few utils here to fix them.Myself I just use the logbook editor here to replace the last flight that doesnt get added after a crash.
