October 25, 20232 yr Hello, I'm in the market for a new PC setup, and I have an NVidia card but I'm thinking about getting an AMD GPU next. Would a 6800 XT/7800 XT play Prepar3D V5 well? I think the game is optimized better for NVidia cards, and I've also heard that some users are reporting fidgeting white lines on the screen while playing with AMD GPUs. Is this true? The value of the AMD cards is just so hard to pass up, especially with the 16GB VRAM compared to the 4070 with 12GB VRAM that I would get if I didn't get an AMD card.
