Faroe Islands, the good, the bad and the ugly

I took a very quick helicopter flight over the Faroe Islands last night just to see what improvements had been made with WU15.  At first glance, it did not look any different until I got in the air.  The elevation mesh is a huge improvement and is very detailed, giving the islands their natural shape; it is quite an awesome sight and well worth a visit.  Unfortunately, the colouring in some areas is horrendous, with grass represented with that hideous vivid emerald green with pinkish rock faces.  It's not all like that, so you could probably plan a nice scenic route.  I've never been to Faroe, but from photos, I don't see any trees or shrubs.  What I do see is a scattering of large grass/moss-covered rocks which the AI in MSFS interprets as trees and shrubs.  Of note, however, is that they are not the standard large trees we are used to and could even be called bushes in many cases.  Another thing I noticed is that they blend with the texture colour much better than I have seen before so that they become gradually apparent as you come closer.  I hope they either get some better satellite imagery or use AI to fix the colours.  After all, if black and white film can be coloured with AI, surely they can fix dodgy colouring.  That aside, it gets full marks.  If I had the time, I would make a video, but I'll leave that for someone else.
