Misaligned waypoints - reinstall sim did not solve problem

Featured Replies

Good morning aviators,

a strange problem has sneaked into the sim a few weeks ago, and I don´t know how to get rid of it. I don´t know if it happened because of switching to Beta14 for testing that new iniBuilds Airbus, or because of installing LittleNavmap, I fly a lot of GA too thanks to these awesome Black Square planes and not always airliners, some day when deciding to fly some airliner again it simply looked this way, here for example in the Fenix Airbus the significant displaced waypoints:

It happens on the navigation display of all airliners, here in the iniBuilds A310 all waypoints and their according text are rendered twice too displaced a few millimeters on the display (which is several hundred feet to the right when flying) with the right corners of the diamond cut off on the display:

All waypoints when using airliner navigation are misaligned, sometimes 1mm sometimes a few millimeters on the display which are a few hundred feet on the map when flying, in most cases even one corner of the diamond showing a selected is cut off because of being misaligned.

I thought "hm whatever, that´s probably just some old navigation files not read correctly or read twice by the sim, I just have to empty the community folder, uninstall the sim deleting all program and save files, and this faulty map data problem will be solved!"

Nope, after reinstalling the sim the same problem is still there. That problem is probably buried somewhere deep in some Microsoft operating system files installed by the flight sim.

My question is...... before formating my hard drive and reinstalling Windows new, is there anything that can be done to solve this faulty navigation files (or probably ND rendering bug) problem?
