CSS 737-500 Classic is out
156€ haha 🤑... looks like prices are not just spiraling completely out of control for food and energy. But it is so great to finally be able to test planes, it was always my wish of having the demo version of addon-planes similar to demos that are available for almost all videogames. To check for visual fidelity, see if there are graphics and cockpit system glitches. Awesome I think I´ll get this plane for 6 bucks and test-fly it a bit. Always wanted to have a classic 737 with Smith Industries EIS, and the full retro instruments! And there is even the -600 version available. https://secure.simmarket.com/css-737-classic-(30-days)-msfs20.phtml

Airfoillabs Cessna 172 radio panel VOR morse codes
Boring... hm... I thought that too and therefore was just flying the most complex and most epic study-level airliners for years, like the Fenix Airbus or the HotStart Challenger and stuff like that. But Black Square released their Piston Duke a while ago. That made me come to the conclusion when getting a fully to the core simulated GA plane with every engine feature simulated, every piston able to fail, every spark plug able to foul or fail, every single electric circuit and circuit breaker simulated and every single light bulb in the whole plane simulated - that is absolute awesome and no longer boring at all. It´s almost like buying a car. A flying car... It´s like owning a real awesome retro-Cessna. Cats of my age must slow down a bit and sometimes fly just for fun to enjoy the forests and national parks with huge bushflight wheels mounted on the plane, and not only fly jets. 😺

Night Flight Viewing Distance
Hmmm that old X-Plane 11 problem again.... there where mods available for X-Plane 11 to enhance the night lights and make street lights highways etc. visible up to 10.000 feet or more. Awesome, highly recommended. There will be the same mods available soon to solve that problem for X-Plane 12 to. Users of high end computers must not be punished and getting their visual feast degraded by unnecessary FPS-optimizations. 🙂 An ultra setting should really challenge the performance a computer can give up to it´s limits, just like the Witcher 3 UberSettings and UberLOD mod, and should not be downgraded to "a new secret medium graphics setting that is just called ultra" in the options menu. 😉

Navigraph: 86% of "serious X-Plane simmers" prefer v12 :)
The serious volumetric cloud visuals conaisseur will demand the freshest and newest X-Plane 12 served... 😉

X-Plane 12.2.0b2 is out!
Relax. Chill. No manuals needed to fly it! 😉 And who reads manuals anyway ... manuals would bore me to death even if they where available as audiobook version with campfire sounds available on YouTube narrated by the best Creepy Pasta storytellers. If you have a bit of knowledge of Airbus and Boeing flying you´re already fully in, the rest you will learn by trying while flying and one or two more tutorial vids. Just watch a 20 minute Foxtrott Alpha video how that FMC is programmed correctly, and watch a video about how an ILS-autoland is done and scribble down a few notes what buttons to press (it´s a bit more buttons, not just APPRoach like in an Airbus, it is similar to landing a Boeing 737 or a CRJ700) and you are good to go on your first flight. Here are some scenery and cloud screenshots from very low altitude, I cannot do that with the Challenger from 40.000 feet... so I had to roll-out a good old Cessna. The visuals are absolute gorgeous, everything looks sharp and clean and awesome and stylish, and the new clouds look superb. The visual level of detail on the ground is so beyond awesome, the night lighting is the best I have ever seen! Everywhere on the ground you will get power poles with cables between these poles, radio masts, traffic lights, cars casting real headlight shine while driving, fully 3d-modeled street lights next to every road or highway, and of course houses apartments gas stations and so much more. I have never noticed how much awesome visual stuff and tons of highest-quality graphiccs details are going on down there while being on flight level 400! 😉 But the realism the cockpit system features the top-notch flight dynamics are what really shines - after having enjoyed X-Plane once (with a good addon-plane of course like the HotStart Challenger) there is no going back to any other lesser sim. Never! 🙂 The airplanes feel so incredible alive and realistic, react to physics in such incredible realistic ways, weather and turbulence and icing is a real danger (unlike in other sims "let´s fly into Tornado Bethany with 500mph winds with a Piper Cub and get default_turbulence.anim animation played" realism level as shown in a dozen YouTube videos every time some hurricane or tornado occurs somewhere). In X-Plane your wing will stall when icing occurs, the weather radar must be observed closely or the plane will get ripped apart by turbulences or thrown over and tumble down in strong winds. The flight physics weather realism and cockpit and system features of X-Plane are beyond awesome.

Airfoillabs Cessna 172 radio panel VOR morse codes
Hmmmmmm not sure not sure anymore about the radio sounds 😉 Today I stumbled upon one YouTube comment from 5 months ago with someone mentioning "GTN 750 and NDB audio is not functional" (which are probably navigation beacon morse codes, while the GTN 750 is a specific addon I am not interested in anyway because it´s too modern in a retro Cessna and uninteresting for VOR navigation. LCD-screens are reserved for jets in my world *ggg). But it´s an absolute awesome plane and can even be equipped with tundra tires and vortex generators and many other customizing features. Exciting! Unfortunately almost all new reviews are for the Garmin 1000 NG version, while the analog version reviews are for it´s ancient absolute outdated X-Plane10 or 11 version, and not for the brandnew and overhauled and remastered XP12 version. Is the analog version of the C172 having all the exact same tuning and customizing options like tundra tires, LED-landing-lights, removal of wheel fairing and other goodies?

Airfoillabs Cessna 172 radio panel VOR morse codes
Hi pilots, I would love to buy the Airfoillabs Cessna 172 - it´s the best of the best, that´s the Piston Duke of X-Plane! - but before buying I want to know a specific certain detail about this plane... Can the volume knob of the radio panel be operated by me to make morse codes and beeps of VOR stations, beacons and middle and inner markers be audible? Thank you very much in advance for your answers! 🙂

How to contact the HotStart developers?
Good morning pilots, hope you have an absolute awesome weekend. Oh I am sure you have when having that awesomness of the newest X-Plane 12 experience. 😉 I would like to know how to contact the HotStart Challenger 650 developers. I have googled everywhere but unlike Fenix (Discord) and iniBuilds (Discord and Forum) I was not able to find one single contact form, chat, forum, or anything. I have so many great ideas to enhance the HotStart Challenger even more (you might love it: one idea is adding a Ferrari LaFerrari or that new BMW SUV from X-Plane 12 instead of that boring black van when calling Nicky for a car, a red carpet from the car to the entry door of the Challenger, I would like to see the handrests of the cockpit seats animated and lowered, makes the cockpit even more cozy and awesome! And I also wanted to notify about a bug in the front gearwell that only occurs in persistant mode, the mode when the "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" flags need to be removed from the plane first before starting her up. And I have finished a complete cockpit texture overhaul to make the cockpit 100% brandnew looking and shiny like a new coin and need to ask the developers if the cockpit texture and bumpmap files are copyright-protected or if I am allowed to upload cockpit and interior mods to the flightsim.to aircraft modding page. Because I like my private jets exactly just like my yachts Lamborghinis Ferraris mansions and space ships: squeaky clean and factory-fresh factory-new. ☺️ And of course I need to congratulate the devs for creating the most AWESOME plane. The most awesome epic aircraft ever made for any sim! ☺️

X-Plane 12.2.0b2 is out!
Oh wow this is one hell of an impressive sim now! 🥰 Beats most top-quality payware scenery addons of FS2020! My new top-notch go-to ultra high end feelgood sim! Finally brought everything to life, Avitab is running and connected to Chartfox, navigation computer database for XP12 updated, now I just have to connect X-Plane 12 to LittleNavmap (which is sometimes very difficult, need a lot of plugins that don´t function correct, I hope I can manage that too to make X-Plane 12 perfect.) There is no going back to lesser simulators now after having tasted X-Plane 12 and the HotStart Challenger once. 😊 Oh it even simulates bird activity, birds nesting etc. and warns from birdstrikes in the ATIS. Oh and I received an 38 pages long SIGMET yesterday evening... it even simulates that. Best and most realistic aircraft ever made! Oh I got kinda bored after flying Airbusses for almost three years, they became too predictable over time ... here I finally a brandnew even more enhanced and sophisticated simulation experience with so much new exciting ultra high tech stuff to learn!

Black Square Duke Released!
How does the crossfeeding of the fuel tanks work? The manual just says "the crossfed tank must have it´s fuel pumps off to prevent too much fuel pressure" that´s all. I have set both tanks to crossfeed (red handles between the front seats) and switched off the fuel pumps of the tank with less fuel and switched on the wing fuel pump for the tank with too much fuel but I had a fuel imbalance of 30 gallons after a two hours flight today.

X-Plane is the king of weather simulation!
Is that big weather radar update now coming with terrain radar echoes that was praised in all YouTube videos a few months ago? Lovely - I hope that means the Hotstart Challenger and the TorqueSim CitationJet 525 will get that soon too?

My favorite A320 - will it ever get patched?
Hi pilots, since last autumn most of the lighting effects of my favorite A320 have disappeared. The iniBuilds 320 V2 for Flight Simulator 2020! Is there any chance this will get ever get patched? Today FS2020 got a small patch but the bug is still there.

FSLabs A321CEO leak
Awwww 😍 I thought I could never fall in love again.... but maybe tonight I will welcome my new Airbus into my life. So that means it will get released rather soon and not in two years or more? # 3, 2, and 1 of my nine cat lives will soon have true meaning and purpose.
