Black Square Duke Released!
JetCat replied to GACSavannah's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
How does the crossfeeding of the fuel tanks work? The manual just says "the crossfed tank must have it´s fuel pumps off to prevent too much fuel pressure" that´s all. I have set both tanks to crossfeed (red handles between the front seats) and switched off the fuel pumps of the tank with less fuel and switched on the wing fuel pump for the tank with too much fuel but I had a fuel imbalance of 30 gallons after a two hours flight today. -
X-Plane is the king of weather simulation!
JetCat replied to Murmur's topic in The X-Plane General Discussions Forum
Is that big weather radar update now coming with terrain radar echoes that was praised in all YouTube videos a few months ago? Lovely - I hope that means the Hotstart Challenger and the TorqueSim CitationJet 525 will get that soon too? -
FSLabs A321CEO leak
JetCat replied to carlanthony24's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
Awwww 😍 I thought I could never fall in love again.... but maybe tonight I will welcome my new Airbus into my life. So that means it will get released rather soon and not in two years or more? # 3, 2, and 1 of my nine cat lives will soon have true meaning and purpose. -
New Asobo Cirrus SR22, what's the verdict?
JetCat replied to Dillon's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
The repaints are awesome. 😉 How is the newest Cirrus 22 for Flight Sim 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition doing? Same superb quality like the FS2020 version? Are new even more enhanced features to the Garmin 1000NXi added? -
A weird MSFS2024 bug: "Altimeter 3005016.. " ?
JetCat replied to FlyIce's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
The altimeter is very accurate. You need to round up or down for the correct number. 🙂 -
BlueBird Simulation thoughts on FS2024
JetCat replied to longhaul747's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
Of course it needs an offline-mode and function just like the good old FS2020 with all that streaming-stuff made purely optional! My internet is very good but way too slow to handle all that streaming-stuff. And that BlueBid 757 - will it be the original classic authentic-style 757 which means slightly curved CRT-screens and brown authentic Boeing shag pile carpet, or the new version with LCD-screens and blue carpet? I want the authentic original old version for the ultimate retro 757 experience. 🙂 Just like the Fenix Airbus that represents an EIS2 cockpit Airbus from 2005 when equipped with the digital ISIS that was brought into Airbus cockpits in the years 2004-06, I would like to have the 757 also representing a certain era and technology style of aviation. And the coolest stuff in cockpits is not always the most brandnew and most actual cockpit layouts. -
looks like fsl is getting closer for release
JetCat replied to pete_auau's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
That would be so great having the legend releasing this year! But I somehow doubt a FS Labs Airbus release in the near future because I remember watching videos of the allegedly "finished and surely almost ready to release" Fenix and Black Square Piston Duke ..... for years, before they finally released... 😄 -
Saw some unexpected wildlife.
JetCat replied to Todd2's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
I hope bunnys and hares are still there in FS2024. They are so cute and sometimes I even see them on the parking lots of airports hopping around. -
Vision Jet bugs and questions
JetCat replied to mistolip's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
That bring me home button is an interesting piece of technology, I have noticed it in a few private airplanes (I think even some newer TBM have it.) Unfortunately no one has ever recreated a functional simulation for this magic button. That is the battery 2 button that must be switched off. The electric circuit schematics should look like this to get the yellow emergency battery failure removed from the ECAM: Hm... not sure 🙂 I never had any payware version of a Vision Jet and I am seeing this cute and also strange little jet for the first time ever in a simulator. (Have flown it only once so I don´t know much about it´s systems and stuff, that´s why I cannot answer all questions.) -
Are default aircraft in FS2024 editable?
JetCat replied to robert young's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
They allowed to do even more stuff than just modifying a little bit of flight dynamics, Salty Simulation completely tried to overhaul the 747 and FlyByWire polished up the systems of the default Asobo Airbus NEO to almost perfection. WorkingTitle fully overhauled the Garmin 1000 and G1000 Next-Generation that was installed in most GA planes. Black Box completely redid the cockpits of the default Asobo Baron and Bonanza and the TBM with steam-gauges before creating their own planes (the awesome Duke series.) Let´s hope this trend will continue because I want that beyond impressive Asobo 737 MAX brought to absolute Fenix system-depth perfection. 🙂 Lovely and great things surely await with these beyond impressive new generation of default planes! But I think the iniBuilds Airbusses are not allowed to be modified that´s why the FlyByWire team is never touching them or releases any mod for these. -
Censorship in official MSFS forums
JetCat replied to AnkH's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
This guy has severe psychological issues, narcissistic power-abuse. He spend a good time flagging literally EVERY single one of my postings (even from the year 2021) for no reasons whatsoever. I only discussed technical and engineering stuff on these forums, mostly about airplanes and systems and nothing about simulator-issues because... well ... I never had any technical issues or any problems with Flight Simulator 2020 whatsoever. 😄 There was no critics the opposite was the case I mostly hyped the simulator and especially the Fenix Airbus, and never had any problems. It begun suddenly and out of the blue for no reason in 2022 or 2023 not sure which year it was, with almost getting a mail daily "I have broken this rule and I have broken that code of conduct, and this posting from February 2021 broke that forum rule, and that posting from November 2020 broke that rule, and that posting on page 34435 of 546435675672 from January 2022 was suddenly flagged because of this or that" blah blah blah blah blah (but without actually breaking any rules, I discussed mostly technical and physics stuff over there.) And it was always this Hester-guy behind that, and in the personal messages. Some day I wrote my "friend" a personal message what kind of personal vendetta he has with me in that forum, and I wanted to know exactly what was wrong with a certain posting that obviously broke not one single code of conduct. Only some stupid angry short answer came back "I am now banned for 7 days for transgressing some conducts"... and since that day I am blocked permanently in this forum for years now, and that ban was never removed. Better avoid this power-monger at all costs, NEVER talk to him directly 100% ignore him, never answer on any PN, NEVER answer on any of his postings, 100% ghost him. Because as soon as he ever notices you in that forum - you will be hunted down in a witch-hunt that NEVER stops until a reason is found to get you deleted there. Maybe he even finds a posting from the Flight Simulator 2004 A Century of Flight era that broke some "code of conduct" as excuse to ban you.... 😄 -
msfs 2024 How to get rid of the EFB in the cockpit ?
JetCat replied to Bushido5's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
It should be removable on the copilot side in the Airbusses. It breaks the immersion when that suction cup iPad always shows the same operating system page I am currently filling out on my iPad mirrored on the copilot side too.
