Black Square Duke Released!

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Sorry if this has already been posted anywhere else. I looked but did not find anything already posted...

Looks like Black Square will not be making us wait for the further delayed SU15!!!

https://www.justflight.com/articles/black-square-msfs-dukes-important-notes-about-the-aircraft

"Those of you who have been closely following the development of the Black Square Simulation Dukes will be aware that we were hoping to wait for SU15 before releasing the aircraft. After another delay of indefinite length, however, and the recommendation of many loyal fans, we have decided to release the aircraft without any further delay..."

Just read a post in the Justflight forum. Someone asked the inevitable "When?" question. Justflights reply was...

"Very soon. As in don't leave the room..."

Glad I jumped in and bought the Bundle as soon as it was released, all downloaded and installed, especially as the Website seems down/unreachable at the moment.

Their servers are getting swamped, so it'll probably be difficult to access them smoothly for the next few hours.

Also please note that while @Tim-HH and I did most of the default liveries...we also did a LOT of post release liveries.... flightsim.to has a limit (GRRRR) of 3 per several hour, so we might have them finished uploading within the next day.

At the moment they reside in "Other Liveries"

That's also going to be my challenge when the 777 releases.   Can't stand that flightsim.to does not give established contributors a faster way to upload content.

I think there used to be a ways to pre-load them and unlink the "on-line" option so you could upload them prior to a release then just activate them when the release happens.

Yeah that kinda annoys me.  Oh well, it's Tim to has to suffer as he painted more than me haha.
