Just a Note to the ACES FOLKS. I noticed after landing on a carrier that there were rails around the flight deck. I was on the Carl Vinson CVN-70 for 2 years on the flight deck and can tell you there are NO rails. If you fall or get blown off your just going to have to swim until the chopper plucks you out.V-4 Grape!

If my memory serves me right its only a mere 42 feet ....LOL I have seen it happen twice, one guy just got blown off he survived the other was burnt up by a f14 then blown overbard.... it was a sad sight. WesPac 86/87Grape
