Logitech Multi Panel problems

Featured Replies

I have been using Saitek devices for many years without problems (10 FIP's,2 radio panels,Trim Wheel and (not currently using--yoke,rudder pedals and switch panel.)  Recently in MSFS2020 in Win10 when using Spad.neXt drivers, (do not have Logitech drivers installed) panels worked as usual except for Multi Panel. Test program would not run and buttons would not respond or light up, All other dials and switches seemed to work OK.  I tried replacing snippets with mixed results, some buttons would light up and rest would not--depending on the snippet, but entire panel would not function as it should. In some snippets, display panel would or would not display. I thought that since the panel is a few years old, it had reached its functional longevity of life. So I bought a new panel and to my dismay, it worked (or rather didn't work) the same as the old panel  Tried switching ports, tested USB voltage all with no improvement.  I contacted Logitech and spoke with an agent that was supposed to be a "Tech" only to be told he would "send" the request to someone else that would contact me within 24 hours via email. 48+ hours later, no response from Logitech.  Sent request on their 'chat' option--still no response.  Would have been better asking a tree for the solution!

Has anyone experienced this issue?  Is there an answer?

Thanks

Did you ask SPAD yet? This sounds more like a middleware issue.

Be mindful that the configuration of the autopilot items is potentially different for every single aircraft in MSFS. Make sure to account for that (I'm not using SPAD, that is just a general rule). For example, it is next to impossible to make it work properly with the Fenix Airbus, unless you use an extra 3rd party hack.
And for my MultiPanel to work at all I had to turn the "Windows Enhanced Power Management" feature off for this device (when that was ON the panel did not work at all, the screen was lit, but no characters on it, buttons did not react, etc.)

Thanks for the reply.   The panel has worked flawlessly for years, along with the other 12 Saitek/Logitech panels until recently when the MP stopped working. As I stated, even replaced the panel with same results.  Plugged directly to MB with USB 3.0 connection, nothing. All other Sai/Log panels connected to USB 2.0 hubs. Contacted SPAD.neXt, still waiting for reply.  Made sure WEPM was off early on. Only fly Textron C172 (boring huh?) because that was the plane I used to fly in my younger pilot days.  Searched many videos and articles online with no improvement.  Even made some registry edits without results--no damage done either!  I keep hoping I will find the elusive solution...
