little_navmap_fsx.sqlite format passt nicht

Featured Replies

Hallo Alex,

folgende Situation:

Rainer

Does not work, error message: Format of little_navmap_fsx.sqlite does not fit (or similar wording, with the same meaning)
Is there a possibility to implement the "old" little_navmap_fsx.sqlite on the WIN11 laptop,
without installing FSX (which has mutated into a "mountain of files" after years of use) there as well?
I would be very grateful for an answer from you, Alex - or another professional.

Sorry, but if the FSX database file uses an unsupported schema (it must be really, really old for LNM to refuse it) it cannot be converted.
LNM can deal with older databases but there is a limit.

This is what I'm guessing. You can also copy and paste the error message as text or screenshot to make it clear.

Hello Alex,

thanks for your reply, Alex.

The error text: The database for the simulator below is not compatible with the program version

                        or was incompleted loaded:

                        MS FSX

                        Erase it?

Would there be a difference to draw again the database from the actual LNM installation (version 2.6.18 (rev. 4d30795e); atools v 3.6.18 (rev. 02dfbf18)

or to update the LNM to the newest version or a higher version still compatible with WIN 7 (if yes, which version?)

Thanks again!

Best wishes

No. This would not help. A LNM 2.8.X version might work. The error message confirms that this is not compatible. Latest is 3.0.9 (https://albar965.github.io/release/2024/07/31/littlenavmap-stable-309-released.html) which is still compatible with FSX but not with the old databases. Did not test it with Win 7, though.

Thanks Alex for your immediate replies,

i will see, what I will do.

Might be, update LNM to to 3.0.9 (if posssible on WIN7), get a new database from this and tranfer it to the Laptop-LNM-Installation.

Though will take a little while, but I will report back.

Thanks for your appreciated help and

have a nice week

Rainer
