The latest Fenix update .0313 V2+10 safe speed

Featured Replies

Hi. Just repeating here my unanswered question on Fenix discord without "words are not really allowed" 😁

I did 5 takeoffs on A319 already and never got safe climbout speed. Takeoff as usual, engage AP at 400 ft. The MCDU managed speed magenta bug sits at V2 speed instead of V2+10 until accel speed altitude. Then the plane accelerates as usual.

Hey! How the --- you all fly the newest update .313 if MCDU gives V2 managed speed between takeoff and acceleration height instead of V2+10? This is not safe at least. I've seen some "real pilot" MSFS videos and the managed speed sits at V2 until acceleration height.  What the hеll?

Sounds correct to me. Pretty sure the magenta bug sits at V2. In SRS mode, with both engines operating, the pitch bar should command V2+10, but the bug is at V2.

Ok. But when you engage AP it keeps V2 speed NOT V2+10. No safe margin almost. Any bank angle more than 15 deg gives "speed too low" warning. And sometimes it ends in alpha floor.

The only workaround for me at the moment is to manually set V2+10 speed as V2 in MCDU.
