Does the logitech 3d pro work in win11

Featured Replies

I'm new to the forum but not new to simming (fsx) back in the day.

Can anyone that have used one tell me what I would need to do to make the logitech 3d pro work with msfs2020 and will it work in win 11.

I have had some confusing advise. Some say I need logitech drivers others say one should not use your the drivers. Some say it drifts or need to be often calibrated some say it often gives problems ?

Does this joystick work ?

If not would it work or work better if downgrade back to win 10 ?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

I understand 🙏

I hope this joystick will work am getting one this afternoon.

Most joysticks do not need special drivers since they are natively supported in Windows. Sometimes drivers can add a few features like more advanced callibration or virtual buttons but in most cases the are not really needed.

Have you searched the internet about this? I just did and the top result was a link to a similar question posted in the official Flightsimulator forums: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/windows-11-not-recognizing-logitech-joystick-extreme-3d-pro/580952/2

In the top of that thread there is a link to an unofficial driver that is supposed to work, but I recommend to only do that as a last resort (or rather not at all). Most replies on that thread write that it works without installing any special driver. In fact if you have the official logitech driver installed it can actually help to uninstall it.
