I bought Standard... how can I get a Cessna 172 on Standard?

I bought Standard yesterday because I thought my MSFS2020 WB-Sim Cessna 172 would work in MSFS 2024. Well, it doesn't. I put it in the community folder and the version with the skis pops up, but there is no plane visible once I load the game.

Does anyone know if either:

a) There is a way to get a working Cessna 172 using Standard mode? E.g. buy a third-party plane? or,

b) Upgrade from Standard to Deluxe without paying $99... e.g. only pay the difference between the two versions?
