FSX Flight One ATR FMC Tracking Issue

Recommended Posts

Guest byoung

My ISP email server is down, so I couldn't reactivate my account at Flight One's forum so I thought I would post here.I am having a problem with Flight One ATR FMC chasing the needle on a waypoint and never being able to sync up. I have even flown manually to and centered the needle to the way point , activated the NAV (set to RNV) and it just keeps over correcting 30' turn to the left and then back to the right trying fly inercepts to sync up. Is this a bug? It just keeps chasing and chasing running all over the sky.As soon as my ISP gets their act together, I will post there as well.(If I don't get an answer here). I don't remember this being a problem is FS9, but it has been awhile since I have flown this bird and I may be doing something wrong??Thanks!Barry

I run the F1 ATR in FSX and have yet to see this type of behavior. It could be you, it could be the airplane. :) Try using the heading hold side of the autopilot and see if it can hang on to the heading itself. If that also swings left and right, it sounds as though there is something amiss. What are the weather/wind conditions? Can it hold a VOR or ILS track? Your best bet would be to wake up your ISP and message over at the F1 forums. Good luck!-Greg
