I have been really on the fence about FS2024 but I want to show you somethings no one else is showing that is impressive and why you should get off the fence and why I'm glad I got it.  Is it complete no, is it good yes. It's also running flawlessly side by side with FS2020.

a picture is worth 1000 words.

Performance is about the same for me on a i713700k and 4800s with 64GB RAM.  I haven't had any internet issues or loading issues.  As a matter of fact the Marketplace automatically downloaded all of my purchased items.

I can officially say the default Asobo KSEA in FS 2024 is better than both payware KSEAs, Sad but also happy.  The MAX is actually really decent.

Arizona looks great, a few too many trees, but what really impresses me is the way the terrain looks down low. Amazingly the DC designs A-10 isn't as bad as their previous products.  Not great, but not bad.

I managed to find some legit looking cirrus clouds in Aspen.  The Corvalis TTX 400 is an awesome plane.

Check it out snow levels in the cascades.  That looks awesome!

Snow data in general has been cleaned up significantly, notice the salmon river valley has no snow but the peaks do.

Bush flying is awesome.  I have just been trying out too many things to really enjoy it, but man once I get time this is excellent.

DFW looks revamped, the A330-200 is pretty cool.

Unfortunately no update at ATL, W loop still missing but the textures look a little crisper.

Bahamas look sharp

Nighttime looks better too.  I'm actually impressed with the game in stock form especially Premium deluxe.

The only really disappointing thing is that the photogrammetry is still covered by an excess number and height of trees.  There are still PG trees on bridges, factories, ports, railyards etc. and there is still a ton of water in desert places where it does not belong.

But finally they have manage to turn the runway lights off during the day.  Small victories.

I still have a few hours of setup left, but I just thought I would share the thoughts of someone who was very discouraged but now believes this is going to be excellent.   Haven't tried anything other than free flight.
