January 8, 20251 yr Each time I start up in my iMac I get the message that the elevation data is not accurate etc. I have downloaded the Global file into the Little Navmap files file the others, restarted, and yet I still get the same message. I have checked the online manual which seems to be written for a PC but from what I can see matches up to what I have done. I cannot find the place to elect use off line directory. I have checked where I can to verify the file is in the correct pace. What am I not doing right here? I would welcome any help.
January 9, 20251 yr Well, I cannot make an extra manual and screenshots for all OS supported by LNM. You can also simply click "Do not show this dialog again", note the limitations mentioned there and continue without the GLOBE elevation data. Anyway, I hope the screenshot below helps. January 9, 20251 yr Author I certainly do appreciate that you cannot make a new manual for each operating system, and that is not a problem for me. I just could not find the section illustrated in the manual and in the image you kindly sent where you can select the Globe directory . Howevere I have done as you have suggested and turned off the nag screen about the matter and I will carry on regardless. Thank you for your guidance.
January 9, 20251 yr This is on macOS in menu "Little Navmap" -> "Preferences". Then click on "Cache and Files" in the list on the left. Press "Select GLOBE directory". LNM will show an error message if the wrong folder is selected. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
