FSGenesis

I have been looking this program over and just can't decide.....Do many of you all use it and like it? I know some do and like it.....I downloaded a free small install of the Galapos Islands and personaly could not tell the difference .....I did go to the same area before and after install to check....I know lots swear by this program...I have purchased GEX FEX and UTX.... How important/noticable do you think FSGenesis will be for me?

Higher resolution mesh means you see much more detail in the mountains, hills, valleys, wherever you see a change in vertical altitude in the terrain. While you can download many of the mesh's for free, FSGenesis has it all and has a great landclass that changes where your GEX textures are drawn. It's a must have for me.Make sure you get the $39 special that has everything included, mesh and landclass.

Thanks SkullXBones..I'm off to get them now on DVD.....

It may already be this way, but if it isn't. . . Make sure you turn your terrain resolution up to 10m, or you will not see all of what the FSGenesis NA mesh has to offer.Mark

Thanks Mark.....I'll make sure.....

One additional hint that many overlook. Fly when there is a low sun angle such as 9am or after 5pm. Otherwise you will not see some of the elevations. Also, just set your mesh resolution slider to full right. It is harmless and makes sure that you always have the maximum benefit from whatever mesh you are using.Regards,Dick BoleyA PC, an LCD, speakers, CH yoke
