January 30, 20251 yr Hello group, I have a question when planning a VFR flight: - In the navigation chart "STANDARDIZED VFR OUTBOUND ROUTES", there is an exit where the last vector must be at 12,000 ft level, the confusion is that the vector at that altitude would be in class A airspace; it is assumed that this type of space is not allowed to fly VFR flights. 1. Are there exceptions to entering class A airspace on VFR flights and what are those exceptions? 2. If on a VFR flight I must ascend to cross a mountain, can I do so taking into account that I would be entering class A airspace?
