May 10, 200818 yr Fxs wouldn't work anymore. When clicking free flight, it closed itself. So I went on to uninstall, but after rebooting the files were still there. Nevertheless in configuration-software the logo was gone. Can I just delete the files (and why are they still there)?Erik [email protected]:Win Vista 64 Ultimate Motherboard: MSI P35 platinumProc.: Intel Core2 duo E6750 coolerMem: 2 x 1 GB DDR2 Twin 800 Mhz Corsair HD 1: Western Digital 750 GB SATAII 16MBHD 2: Western Digital 500 GB SATAII 16MBGraphic Card 1: Point of View Nvdia 8800 GTS 640MB POVGraphic Card 2: Asus 8400GS 256 MB Case: Anec performance OneP182Voeding: Corsair voeding HX 620 W
May 10, 200818 yr If you are going to reinstall FSX then delete the FSX folder, after you have run the uninstall file, this will give your machine a clean slate.
May 10, 200818 yr Shouldn't the uninstallprogram have deleted all files normally? Is there a preference as to uninstall first fsx and then accelaration or vice versa. And what about third party addons? May 10, 200818 yr Hi,It is always best to work backwards in this process. Add-ons get uninstalled first, then Acceleration, SP1, and FSX. There are folders left behind in Application Data because they contain your settings, flight plans and saved flights, so those folders need to be deleted by hand. Some users would not want to lose those files!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
