Tweaking time limit in FSX lessons?

Some time ago, I remember reading that a tweak was possible to give the user more time to complete a maneuver in the Rod Machado lessons in MSFS. I implemented it some time ago, but then had a system rebuild that required an FSX reinstall, and seem to have lost any trace of how to carry it out. A search of both this site and Google brought up nothing (probably because I couldn't hit on the magical combination of keywords). Does anyone here know that information? Thanks in advance.
