Puget Sound

Puget Sound

This tour of the Puget Sound region of Washington State features landings and/or touch and go’s at many familiar airports from the “old” Orbx PNW days.   We will experience updated versions of these airstrips in the MSFS environment.  We will start at Vince Bazillio’s wonderful rendition of Bowerman (KHQM) and proceed east and north towards Seattle including a touch and go at Wax Orchards (WA69) and landing at Vashon (2S1) before landing at Boeing Field (KBFI).   Departing over Seattle Harbor we make our way north to Everett (KPAE) and Arlington (KAWO) before following the Stillaguamish inland to Darington (1S2).   We follow the Sauk to the Skagit and land at Concrete (3W5), then continue back to Anacortes (74S).   A quick tour of the San Juan Islands, then a landing or touch and go at Roberts Airpark (1RL) and Blaine (4W6), concluding with a final landing at Bellingham (KBLI).

 FlightPlan Here

The route is 276 miles in length with 20 airstrips. I will be flying the Cessna Caravan, but the Bonanza or Commanche would also be good choices.  As always you are free to fly whatever you want.

Optional  Freeware Airports

Payware Airports (not necessary but remember to activate them if you own them)

Recommend Departure time of 2:00 PM

Particulars:

If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks!
