Cold and dark start up not saving

Hi all 

I have the cowansim md500e and a cockpit with switches and  buttons  mapped through fsuipc.

I have shut down the engine  so I can do a full engine start up, saved the flight which is parked at a helipad.

Then I open up my saved flight the engines are running.

Is this a bug in 2020 or is there something I have missing
