  1. Hi all I have a couple of rotary encoders ,20 detent, which I have setup with fsuipc to tune coms radios. I am having trouble getting them just right. I can get them to tune the fract by increments of five but on the on sreen cockpit with the mouse I can set increments by 2 I have loe bodnar button box software to adjust pulse rate Anyone have any ideas about the correct way to setup encoders for fsx radios Cheers Rhys

Hi Thanks for the reply In the settings " Select time and weather source" should Time source be -Local computer or -Website The NOAA URL is https://aviationweather.gov/api/data/dataserver I have selected in FSX se Weather themes Clear Skies (clears all weather ) as I assume when I use lorby live traffic "set real weather" that overrides the fsx weather themes Cheers Rhys
  5. Hi all I have a macro file to control various switches in my home built cockpit. The aircraft has a rotating dimmer switch to control light intensity Does anyone know the best type of switch to use ,potentiometer or rotary encoder I use rotary encoders for hsi adf and vor but they are continuous in both directions and the light dimmer switch on the panel is not continuous Cheers Rhys

  7. Thanks Bill Its only happing with the Milviz 530F. I have their bell UH-1 and the Dodsim 206 and they all work good as gold. Something in the MD530f is just not correct but there is no way to really tell what it is Rhys

  9. Hi all I have a couple of helicopters that have fairly accurate engine startup procedures. When I use weather themes that predict any bad weather the N2 gauge takes ages to increase to the point I have to clear weather themes in fsx and select fine weather then the N2 gauge behaves like lt should Regards Rhys

  12. Hi I enjoy lorby live traffic and the real world weather function but I have noticed that real world weather is just giving me total cloud cover and not my current weather Any ideas of a fix Regards Rhys
  13. Hi all On the off chance someone comes across this post. I am looking for a link to re download the freeware UH1 huey redux. The copy over at Blackbird freebies which states p3d and FSX does not include the FSX version. if anyone can help I would be much appreciated Regards Rhys
  14. Hi all I use fsuipc for all my controls and switches. In the cowansim md500e I have set the cyclic controls to aileron and elevator but I get no response from the control surfaces. Is anyone here flying a cowansim helo and using fsuipc Cheers Rhys
  15. Thanks mate Got it working. So followed the link and tried the install sdk and all good. I was a little reluctant to install the legacy versions as everything was working fine but at present everything is working as it should Cheers Rhys
