Since I reinstalled FSX a few weeks back, I've noticed that many of my buildings, like at KLAS (casinos)and KSEA (airport buildings) are "shimmering" and my settings are all pretty much the same. What do I have to change in my config or elsewhere to get stable non-shimmering buildings?Thanks.

Turn off scenery shadows, if you have that turned on.

All you can do is play with your endless variety of settings and see what,if anything helps.I have all the vid cards and most machines to play with and still have not found a all around best setting.The vid card I am playing with now is the ati 4850 but I still have the card you do.Adding pos bias through Nhancer eliminated my shimmering,especially trees but a side effect is the menu and atc text sometimes gets garbled.Do a search and you will find a endless number of FSX graphics problems related post and a equal number of solutions.Also on my 32 inch Sony Aquos, I can adjust the sharpness and it has a effect on shimmering.
