Mex Jets Tour

Mex Jets Tour

This is part one of a two part tour down the Pacific coast of Mexico.  We depart from the Atlantic Aviation ramp at Palm Springs (KPSP).  After verifying everyone has their passports we taxi out for a 4pm afternoon departure.  The long first leg will take us over the Salton Sea and into Mexico reaching the Sea of Cortez and our first landing at Puerto Peñasco (MMPE).  We make our way south and east in Sonora before crossing the sea reaching Baja Sur at Loreto (MMLT).  The final legs take us to the tip of the Baja Peninsula to San Jose Los Cabos (MMSD) for an evening arrival.

FlightPlan(s)  Here

This tour was designed for business jets.  I will fly the default Pilatus PC24 in Ryan B’s N84KE livery.  The default Cessna CJ4 is also a good choice as is the Longitude.   As always you are free to fly whatever you like.

PC-24 Supplemental

I have included custom PC24 cabin camera views. Install instructions and screenshots included with the Flightplan package.  I have also included individual leg plans (Mex Jet 1, Mex Jet 2, ....) which were generated using the flight simulator planner.  These include approach procedures and some enroute waypoints.  These plans can be loaded into the EFB at each airport and then sent to the avionics.

The PC-24 features Honeywell Epic Avionics which differ from the Garmin and Collins we have used before.  Listed below are a few youtube videos which may help you familiarize yourself with the operation of the automated flight modes.   Not all features shown are implemented in the MSFS2024 PC-24.

·       FMS Speeds on the Pilatus PC-24 (Load 5.1) | Pilatus PC-24 | Honeywell Aerospace
