August 15, 200817 yr I'm using FSX mainly to explore scenery from fairly low altitudes and often find myself longing for some text information to help identify my location. Does anyone know of any program or add-on for FSX that would add place names of towns etc on the Map window? Or overlay it in the main window?-- Terry, East Grinstead, UK

August 16, 200817 yr Thanks all, great posts, much appreciated!I've downloaded both programs (from both Jims) but the freeware FSWidgets GMap looks exactly what I need.I'm now keen to try the GMap flight plan facility on my own flight plans. But the snag is that I don't yet know how to create one in FSX. This is now OT to the subject, so I'll post a new query called 'How to make a detailed flight plan?'.-- Terry, East Grinstead, UK
